Balta Burger has entered the Aegean region with its 28th shelter in İzmir. Forest flavours that have spread across Anatolia are now meeting burger lovers in the city.

Beginning with its first shelter in Batman, Balta brought a different approach to burger culture and grew to 27 locations. The journey from Batman, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Van and Şırnak continued to İstanbul, Bursa, Balıkesir, Mersin and Isparta. İzmir became its 28th stop.
Is İzmir ready for Balta?
One of Türkiye’s largest cities is welcoming Balta’s homemade burger philosophy and distinctive menu. Co-founder Murat Tarhan expressed his pride in opening a shelter in a city with such a rich cultural life, and his excitement about bringing natural, quality ingredients to the Aegean. As in the other shelters, guests will be welcomed in a friendly, natural setting inspired by the spirit of the forest.
Known for signature products including Kürek Burger, Meşe Burger and Kereste Burger, Balta carefully selects everything from the meat to the bread. With İzmir as the 28th stop, the brand plans to continue its journey with further shelter openings.
